Promoted by the Government of Sucre and the Regional Competitiveness Commission, the Nature Tourism Cluster in Montes de María brings together stakeholders from the tourism sector, from service providers to community associations. This initiative seeks to transform the tourism experience through a biocultural and sustainable approach, highlighting the intimate relationship between local communities and their natural environment.
In municipalities such as Chalán, Colosó, Toluviejo, San Antonio de Palmito, San Onofre, Corozal and Sincelejo, more than 20 tourism actors have joined forces to offer unique experiences that reflect the biodiversity and cultural legacy of Sucre.

The tour covers iconic sites where adventure and tranquility converge. Also highlighted are conservation projects such as the Sanguaré Reserve in San Onofre, which protects endangered species and promotes generative tourism.
This cluster promotes both ecotourism and local artisanal production, with products made from traditional materials such as iraca palm and caña flecha, representing an example of how conservation and sustainable economy can go hand in hand.
