In San Benito Abad, on lands that were once considered unproductive, a story of transformation and sustainability emerges. Here, a family and a community have come together with a clear vision: to bring life back, regenerate soils and provide opportunities.
This is how Bendito Marañón was born, a family and associative enterprise that has found the soul of its purpose in the cashew tree.
A Green Dream Growing in Sucre
Pioneers in the planting, processing and marketing of cashew nuts, its founder Esmeralda González Bechara is turning the cashew into a symbol of sustainability and transformation. This mission has been recognized with the Green Business Seal awarded by the Ministry of the Environment, a testament to our commitment to responsible and sustainable practices.
Innovation with the flavor of cashews
Each product developed at their processing plant tells a story of innovation and care for the environment. From organic vinegar to vegan cashew cream and meat, their products carry with them the taste of regenerated land and the effort of a community working together. Through their CREATIO SUCRE project, they have created innovative food solutions, such as vegetable protein based on cashews, a product that not only feeds, but transforms the way we understand agriculture in semi-arid territories.
An Impact That Transcends Generations
Its mission is clear: to transform cashews into innovative, high-quality products, supporting the regeneration of semi-arid lands and promoting biodiversity in the region. Our products include:

The work that Bendito Marañón does is a symbol of resilience and sustainability for the communities of Sucre. A great example of how to create sustainable opportunities for future generations.
